Due to the strike announced by the SNPVAC — National Flight Personnel Civil Aviation Union, we inform you that flights operated by SATA Air Açores (SP) may be affected between July 18 and 24, 2025.
For your reference, we have provided further details about the strike and a list of minimum guaranteed services, which can be found here.
We also inform you that the flights operated under the ACMI agreement by UNIVERSAL AIR CHARTER AND MANAGE, in effect since June 1, 2025, continue to operate as planned.
The following measures are authorized:
- Changes are permitted, without penalties or fare differences, for:
- Dates outside the strike period;
- Flights included in the minimum services guaranteed;
- Flights operated under ACMI by UNIVERSAL AIR CHARTER AND MANAGE.
For ticket reissue or revalidation, please contact the Helpdesk through the usual channels, depending on your market.
- Refunds: Tickets with flights (SP) during the strike period may be refunded in full. The refund request must be submitted to BSP/ARC, with the reason: STRIKE SNPVAC | July 18 to 24, 2025, after the booking has been canceled.
Notes: Voluntary changes requested by passengers, without cancellation of the flight, do not entitle passengers to assistance or compensation under Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004. The right to assistance applies only in the event of actual flight cancellation.
